Chocolates
Sweet
as sugar crunchy
and munch having
one for lunch For
my empty tummy Later
that night I
felt queasy Not
taking it easy sobbing
and screaming That
I have a toothache
A new day Chirping and singing of birds Blooming and folding of flowers Busy bees on shaky leaves The sun gleaming and beaming Cheers to a new day Another God given chance To live and breathe To smile and laugh Mostly to find joy in the little things T.I Amadhila
Kiss the ink on my hands As I knit words together So effortlessly and creatively Like a game scribble Thy Shakespeare of this era Diving deep in metaphors and similes Paging and puking ink on blank papers Expressing myself like an angry poet I say swept me on my hands As the power and magic are in my hands I play with words and create magic Taking to the world of imagination Born a writer Call me a waiter serving words Writing is my passion
