The trees cries
A tall timber tree stands tall, In a quiet forestry, dancing it all Gently swaying in the breeze I'm sure it's at ease A treasure to our environment A provider of shade A haven for many A food factory for all, Until woodcutters came Its fate was sealed. Angry axes chopped it down The tree cried out in sad In a shaggy voice it said : I don't deserve this, I serve and provide ! It fell, offered words so great: Save more of us For generations to come, Protect what remains, Plant more of us
